Kinnovis acquires Xperitt to expand European self-storage software and access control offering

Vienna, Austria and Alicante, Spain – 20 May 2026

Kinnovis has acquired Xperitt, the Spanish self-storage software company behind the Kypiq facility management platform and Kleeiq access control system. The acquisition brings Xperitt’s products, team and customer base into Kinnovis, strengthening the company’s presence across Europe and adding direct operations in Spain and Portugal.

Xperitt has built a strong position in the Iberian self-storage market by combining facility management software with proprietary access control hardware. Its customers include Cabe Trasteros, one of Spain’s largest self-storage operators, which uses Kypiq and Kleeiq across its portfolio.

As part of the acquisition, Xperitt’s full team joins Kinnovis. Iván Palacios Verano, co-founder of Xperitt, becomes Managing Director for Kinnovis Iberia and will continue as the main contact for existing Xperitt customers while leading the company’s commercial activity across Spain and Portugal.

Xperitt customers will continue to receive support on their current platforms, with a phased route into the wider Kinnovis product suite over time.

For self-storage operators across Europe, the deal expands the combined company’s product offering, bringing facility management software, customer booking tools, AI-powered enquiry handling and access control together under one supplier. The acquisition also combines engineering and support teams, giving customers access to greater product development resources and regionalised support.

Martin Wild, Managing Director of Kinnovis, said:
“Xperitt has built a product that genuinely understands how Iberian self-storage operators work, with customers like Cabe Trasteros proving they can support growth-focused operators. Bringing Xperitt into Kinnovis gives us a significant presence in Iberia and adds access control to our portfolio for the first time. For operators across Europe, it means one team, one product set and one support line.”

Iván Palacios Verano, Managing Director for Kinnovis Iberia, said:
“Joining Kinnovis means our customers gain access to a wider product set while keeping the local relationships they value. Our team remains in place, the products continue, and customers will still work with the same people they know today. What changes is the scale of what we can now build and support.”

Kinnovis said further details on the structure of the combined product portfolio will be shared in the coming weeks.
