Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Asian Tigers Malaysia has marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month, also known as Pink October, by organising a health and nutrition awareness session for its employees.

The initiative formed part of the company’s employee wellbeing activities, aiming to increase awareness of breast cancer, encourage preventive healthcare and promote healthier lifestyle choices.

The interactive session covered three principal topics: breast cancer awareness, healthy nutrition and drinking water quality.

The breast cancer presentation addressed the importance of early detection, recognising potential warning signs and symptoms, breast self-awareness and regular health screening.

The nutrition element examined balanced diets and healthier food and drink choices, while a further presentation explored drinking water quality, including filtration technologies and the differences between filtered, reverse osmosis and mineral water.

Asian Tigers Malaysia said the initiative reflected its commitment to supporting employee wellbeing beyond the workplace.
