Volvo marks centenary with special-edition FH trucks 

Volvo Trucks is launching a special edition of its flagship heavy-duty truck range ahead of the company’s 100th anniversary celebrations in 2027. 

The Volvo 100 Year Edition will be available across the FH Aero, FH, FH16 Aero and FH16 ranges, with most existing driveline and chassis configurations offered. Orders will open in September 2026. 

The anniversary models feature a redesigned two-tone cab interior, combining premium leather with grey textile upholstery and embroidered centenary motifs. Tan leather detailing complements the exterior paintwork, while additional features include illuminated doorsteps, adjustable ambient lighting and a welcome light that projects the anniversary motif onto the ground. 

Further details include specially designed speaker grilles, curtains depicting Volvo truck models from the past century and thicker floor mats. 

The launch follows recent upgrades to Volvo’s electric, diesel and gas powertrains, intended to improve performance, range, energy efficiency and power. 

Several FH models have also received five-star Euro NCAP safety ratings, including FH and FH Aero 4×2 tractors and 6×2 rigids. 

The centenary model follows previous limited editions including the FH 25 Year Special Edition, FH Aero Euro NCAP Special Edition and Volvo Ocean Race Limited Edition.
