Graebel adds AI relocation assistant to CitySwitcher 

Graebel Companies has launched Switch, an AI-powered virtual relocation assistant integrated into its CitySwitcher platform for employees managing all or part of their own relocation. 

The new tool is intended to provide more personalised guidance for employees receiving lump-sum benefits, cash allowances or otherwise taking greater responsibility for relocation decisions. 

Switch combines Graebel’s relocation data and mobility expertise with AI technology to answer questions, suggest next steps and provide destination-specific information. 

One feature is designed to help employees compare neighbourhoods in unfamiliar cities based on their circumstances and preferences. The system can also provide real-time answers to relocation questions, compare options and direct users towards relevant services and resources. 

Graebel said the technology is intended to make self-managed moves more guided while retaining flexibility for employees. 

Joey Ham, Global Head of Product at Graebel, said Switch was the latest development in the company’s ongoing investment in CitySwitcher and other mobility technology. 

The company also expects the tool to reduce the number of routine enquiries handled by corporate mobility teams by giving employees direct access to relocation guidance. 

Graebel said Switch could also help employers extend structured relocation support to a broader range of employees, including those outside traditional fully managed relocation programmes.
