myMoveToday has launched a proptech platform designed to help UK removals firms manage the uncertainty caused by changing property completion dates.
The system connects removals providers directly to a home mover’s live transaction data feed. When an exchange or completion date is confirmed or amended, the removals firm is notified, helping operators adjust schedules quickly and reduce wasted vehicle capacity.
For removals companies, late changes in housing chains can lead to cancelled vans, empty schedules and unrecoverable costs. myMoveToday aims to give operators earlier visibility of likely move dates, supporting improved fleet planning and customer communication.
Steve Wanless, CEO of myMoveToday, said removals firms have traditionally been left “in the dark until the final hour”. He said the platform helps integrate operators into the moving chain, supporting better fleet management, fewer uncompensated cancellations and improved customer service.
Removals firms can register for the regional provider directory and trial the live-tracking dashboard.
