The focus of this year’s Movers & Storers Show (TMSS) will be on growth, innovation and opportunity, says Richard Pegler, the Event Director.
As we move through the summer and edge ever closer to November, preparations are gathering pace for what promises to be another outstanding Movers & Storers Show.
Now entering its 18th year, the exhibition has firmly established itself as one of the most important dates in the removals and storage industry calendar, bringing together suppliers, innovators, industry leaders and business owners for two productive days focused entirely on our sector.
Over nearly two decades, the show has evolved into the largest independent event dedicated to supporting the removals and storage industry. It continues to provide a unique platform where businesses of every size can discover new products, explore emerging trends, share ideas and build valuable relationships. At a time when the industry is facing both challenges and opportunities, there has never been a greater need for an event that brings the sector together under one roof.
The past 12 months have undoubtedly presented challenges for many businesses across our sector. Global uncertainty, combined with ongoing domestic economic pressures, has impacted consumer confidence and created a more cautious trading environment than many had hoped for.
From fluctuating demand levels to rising operating costs, businesses have had to work harder than ever to maintain growth and profitability.
However, as we look ahead to the autumn, there are encouraging signs that conditions may be beginning to improve. While challenges undoubtedly remain, there are emerging green shoots of recovery that give reason for optimism. As an industry, we have always demonstrated resilience and an ability to adapt, and many businesses are already positioning themselves to take advantage of future opportunities.
This makes the coming year particularly important. With 2027 expected to be a pivotal year for many businesses, now is the time to ensure that operations, processes, technology and supplier partnerships are as strong as possible. The businesses that invest in learning, innovation and networking today will be best placed to capitalise on opportunities tomorrow. That is precisely why events such as the Movers & Storers Show are more relevant than ever, providing access to the latest products, services, expertise and industry insight all under one roof.
This year’s exhibition will feature more than 65 exhibitors representing every area of the industry. From vehicles, equipment and packaging suppliers through to software providers, insurance specialists, training organisations and professional services, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the biggest names, brightest innovators and most trusted suppliers in the market. The diversity of exhibitors ensures there is something of value for every business, whether you are looking to improve efficiency, identify new revenue opportunities or simply stay ahead of industry developments.
The strong exhibitor support for this year’s event is further evidence of the value the industry places on The Movers & Storers Show. With approximately 90% of exhibition space already allocated and only 8-10 stands remaining, interest from suppliers and service providers has once again been exceptionally strong.
For many exhibitors, the show is regarded as an essential part of their annual marketing and business development activity. Where else can businesses meet so many engaged, active and influential industry professionals in an environment specifically designed to drive meaningful conversations, generate leads and build long-term relationships?
We are particularly delighted to welcome our highest-ever number of new exhibitors. Their participation ensures visitors will discover fresh ideas, innovative solutions and new business opportunities alongside the established industry brands that have supported the exhibition for many years. The combination of trusted suppliers and exciting new entrants continues to be one of the key reasons the show remains such an important event for visitors looking to stay ahead of industry developments.
Exhibitors consistently tell us that the event delivers one of the strongest returns on investment of any industry activity they undertake. Many regard it as their most productive marketing investment of the year, providing unrivalled access to business owners, decision makers and industry influencers over two focused days.
Launching our business at The Movers & Storers Show was easily the best decision we could have made. The entire event team went completely above and beyond to support us, making what could have been a stressful milestone an incredibly rewarding experience. When it comes to the removals and storage industry, this is absolutely the place to be if you want to connect with the right people.

Beyond the commercial opportunities, exhibitors also value the chance to network with industry colleagues, partners and peers. The show has always been about more than stands and products; it is about bringing the industry together, sharing knowledge and strengthening the relationships that help drive our sector forward.
With demand for exhibition space continuing to grow, we expect the remaining few stands to be allocated quickly. If your business is considering exhibiting, now is the time to act. To discuss the limited opportunities that remain, contact Jan at sales@moversandstorersshow.com.
The show also remains one of the most accessible industry events available. Unlike many conferences, where attendance can cost individuals hundreds of pounds before travel and accommodation are even considered, The Movers & Storers Show is completely free to attend. Visitors can access more than 65 exhibitors, over 10 hours of free educational content, industry networking opportunities and practical business insight, all without the cost barriers often associated with traditional conferences.
The support the exhibition receives from industry associations, media partners and suppliers reflects the important role it plays within the sector. However, what truly sets the event apart is the opportunity it provides for networking. The removals and storage industry has always been built on strong relationships, and the show offers the ideal environment to reconnect with industry friends, meet new contacts and exchange ideas with colleagues facing similar challenges and opportunities.
The Movers & Storers Show brings together the biggest names, brightest innovators and most trusted suppliers, all under one roof, for two productive and valuable days. It is an opportunity to explore the latest products, trends and ideas shaping our sector, make valuable new connections and leave inspired with practical ideas that can help take your business to the next level.
This year we are further developing our free Seminar Sessions, introducing a series of interactive panel discussions designed around the issues that businesses are telling us matter most. Topics will range from the ongoing challenges surrounding conveyancing and its impact on the customer journey through to embracing new technologies, artificial intelligence, digital transformation and the innovations that will help shape the future of our industry.
Over the coming weeks we will be announcing the full seminar programme and speaker line-up, featuring respected experts, industry leaders and experienced professionals from across the sector. These sessions will provide practical insight, real-world experience and valuable takeaways that attendees can immediately apply within their own businesses.
As an industry, we are much more than a collection of individual businesses; we are a community. Supporting that community remains a key objective for the exhibition team, and we are delighted to announce the launch of the Movers & Storers Network App.
Available as a free download on both Android and iOS, the app has been designed to become an essential companion for professionals across the industry. Users can access daily news updates, read the latest edition of Movers & Storers Magazine, browse exhibitor information, arrange meetings ahead of the show, register for the exhibition, view the full seminar programme and reserve seats for selected sessions.
The Movers & Storers Network App is only the beginning. Planned developments include a dedicated recruitment section, an extensive video library providing access to recorded seminar sessions, a supplier directory and a dedicated chat facility that will enable members of the industry to share ideas, ask questions and support one another throughout the year.
Our ambition is simple: to create a platform that delivers value not just during the exhibition, but every day between shows. We would encourage everyone involved in the removals and storage industry to download the App and become part of what we hope will become the sector’s most valuable networking and information resource.
The Movers & Storers Show remains the last major UK-based industry event before spring 2027, making it the ideal opportunity to review the year, explore new ideas and prepare for the opportunities ahead.
Whether you are looking to grow your business, discover new suppliers, gain fresh insights, strengthen industry relationships, showcase your products or simply stay connected with developments across the sector, November’s exhibition promises to be time exceptionally well invested.
If you have not yet registered, now is the perfect time. Entry is completely free, the opportunities are extensive, and with more than 65 exhibitors, over 10 hours of free seminar content, unrivalled networking opportunities and the launch of the Movers & Storers Network App, we look forward to welcoming the industry once again for what promises to be our biggest and most valuable event yet.
