The Pasha Group has appointed Ray Fitzgerald as president and chief operating officer, effective 1 October 2026, as part of a senior leadership restructure.
Owner George Pasha IV will move into the role of chairman and chief executive officer, focusing on long-term strategy, business development and key relationships.
Fitzgerald (pictured above) brings more than 30 years’ experience in logistics, shipping and transportation. He joins Pasha from Crowley, where he most recently served as executive advisor to the CEO and previously held the position of chief operating officer.
Earlier in his career, Fitzgerald spent around 20 years in senior roles with Wallenius Wilhelmsen, including serving as president and COO, as well as CEO of American Roll-on Roll-off Carriers. His work there included involvement in national security logistics for the US Department of Defense.
In his new role, Fitzgerald will oversee day-to-day operations and longer-term priorities across Pasha’s operating divisions and subsidiaries.
The San Rafael, California-based company said the changes reflect its continued growth and expansion.
Recent developments include investment in LNG-powered vessels, the near-completion of the Kapalama Container Terminal in Honolulu, expansion in the Pacific Northwest and further activity in alternative energy asset transport and bunkering.
The Pasha Group has been family-owned since its foundation in 1942.
